Icriodus multidentatus sp. nov. and I. quartadecimensis sp. nov. – New Conodont Species from the Frasnian Stage of the Southern Timan

Abstract

New species of conodonts of the genus Icriodus– I. multidentatus sp. nov. and I. quartadecimensis sp. nov. from the Sargaevo Regional Stage of the Ust-Yarega Formation (Frasnian Stage, Upper Devonian) of the Southern Timan are described. The described species have rather wide platforms, which may be related to the development of a new food resource.
